Prayer: GOD HAS A PLAN God has always had a plan that includes you. Once you accept that fact it opens up an amazing horizon of grace. You can begin learn how important your relationship is to God. He desires for you to choose the path He has already prepared. I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3 He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world… Ephesians 1:4 As you study further these verses and more, in the Bible, you will begin to realize that God has a vested interest in you. His love has an eternal perspective. It is from ‘before the foundation of the world,’ and continues on into ‘everlasting life.’ Before (God) formed you in the womb (He) knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 (God) Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed, and in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me. Psalm 139:16 God knows you. God loves you. He came to earth in the person of Jesus, just to give you a choice of life with Him forever. God seeks to bring you into a closer relationship with Himself. The picture of a shepherd who loves and cares for his sheep is a beautiful reminder of the love that God, who is the Good Shepherd, has for you. The LORD is my shepherd…He makes me lie down in green pastures… He leads me beside still waters…He restores my soul… He leads me in righteous paths…He is with me in every situation…He protects and corrects me with His rod and staff… He prepares the table of blessing…He anoints my head with oil…He is the source of goodness and mercy in my life… I will live with Him forever. Psalm 23 (paraphrased) What He asks of you is to believe in Him, turn from sin and self, trust His promises for you in the Bible, and allow Him to pour out His blessings day by day. (John 3:16) As part of the family of God, each day is an opportunity to experience His love even more. And that lasts for eternity! Joyfully, Joyce
