Prayer: HOW IS YOUR HEART God is concerned about the condition of your heart. The heart is the center of your emotions. It reflects your focus and relationship with Jesus as well as with your family and friends. When you are left to your own devices and the ungodly wisdom of the world, you are missing the main ingredient for your heart to find peace. Following this type of thinking can lead you far away from God. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” Psalm 14:1 Instead, seek the Lord, accept His gift of salvation, and become part of God’s plan to live with Him forever. God hears and answers your prayer for forgiveness. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 When your heart is in close connection with God, you have access to many blessings. Let the desire of your heart be to know the Father and have an intimate relationship with Him. Then your heart is steadfast and strong in the Father’s love. Learning to meditate on the goodness of God with your heart allows you to be filled with the joy and peace that only God can give. Let your goal be to come to God daily with a humble and receptive heart. Read the Bible with your heart open to the message God gives. Your heart will be filled with His love, so you can share that love with others. Jesus said: He who believes in Me… out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 Joyfully, Joyce
