Prayer: THE LIFE GOD HONORS When you are young and looking to the future, you can seek those who have proven by their life the faithfulness of God. Follow the ones who have dedicated their life to following the King of king and the Lord of lords. There are certain advantages to aging: you gain more time to learn from your mistakes; there is a better chance of success, with the number of plans that are tried that did not work out exactly as you planned. Many great leaders and inventors failed multiple times in their attempts, but success came as they kept on trying. Also, there are many more people that you meet, and a greater chance of finding true friends. The best discovery is to know God and become a part of His forever family, as you believe the message of John 3:16. There is a better chance of leaving a legacy of honor and integrity as you follow the path that God sets out for you. There are many more times in your life to testify of the faithfulness and of the Lord. You gain joyful opportunities to welcome others into the kingdom of God! Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing. Psalm 92:13, 14 You have the distinct honor of confirming the truth of the Lord, His goodness and faithfulness in your life. You are proof of the way that God guides and leads His children. Telling the generation to come the praises of the LORD. Psalm 78:4 Your testimony gives credibility of truth to younger generations. The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting unto them that fear Him, and his righteousness unto children’s children. Psalm 103:17 You have the assurance that the stedfast love of the Lord will never fail you. That is the message needed by your children and grandchildren. What was true at the beginning of life is true to the very end: Jesus loves me, this I know: for the Bible tells me so! Joyfully, Joyce
