Prayer: WE ARE FAMILY God intends for you to become a member of One Family. You have one Heavenly Father. You are saved by the Son of God. Just as you are joined with God, He wants you also to join believers in your immediate community. This fellowship of believers forms a close-knit family. They help one another. They look out for each other. They encourage each one to grow. They find spiritual comfort and strength in their relationship. As a believer, you belong to the company of those who also call God their Father. The early Christians found encouragement in spending time together, studying, praying, and sharing meals. It gave them great joy to be with others who had the same faith. They praised God together. This is what God intends for you as well. Having brothers and sisters in Christ to guide you, comfort you, and love you, will give you strength. You all have a common goal and a common zeal for knowing God and serving Him. There is fellowship. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 You have you own special Christian family. They will be your support and strength. They are your prayer warriors when there is trouble or danger. They will be your accountability as you release yourself from old habits. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of the household of God. Ephesians 2:19 Choose to be a part of your Christian family. Be one who will comfort and encourage others who come into faith, working together to be a shining light for God. Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things…Ephesians 5:18-20 Joyfully, Joyce
