Prayer: LEADERSHIP Have you ever wanted to go up to a group and ask, Who is in charge! Looking for the leader of a group lets you determines the direction and focus the group is going to take. Leadership is important in all areas of life and especially in government. You need to discover where the ultimate leadership comes from. Who really is in charge? The Bible has an answer for that question. For wisdom and might are His and He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and raises up kings. Daniel 2:21 For there is no authority except from God and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Romans 13:1 The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He will, and sets it over the lowest of men. Daniel 4:17 Sometimes you might worry that things are not going as you would like to see them. You might fear that leaders are making bad decisions. Then is the time to remember that God is the One who is really in charge. You need to focus on God for prayer. Your hope and your trust need to be in the living God who rules over heaven and earth. Your prayer is to be directed to the all-powerful God who will lead His people to victory and life eternal. What happens will fit perfectly into His eternal ultimate plan. When you pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” you are stating that God has ultimate rule over earth, as He does in heaven. Daily, your trust and your faith needs to be in God. He is in control. Victory and peace comes from following Him. For the kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules over the nations. Psalm 22:28 Joyfully, Joyce
