Prayer: LOVE Love is an important factor in your life. There is the natural love that a mother has for her newborn child. It is a love that holds, cuddles, comforts, protects and nurtures. A baby cannot survive without the arms of love. It brings emotional, physical, and spiritual nourishment. You also need love in your life for survival. With the love of those around you, there is strength and growth. Love allows you to reach your potential and also gives you the ability to reach out to others in love. Love is meant to flow through you. The greatest love you can experience is knowing that God loves you. Just as John 3:16 expresses, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. That great love came to you and was poured out for you before you ever knew it, and before you became a believer. Love brought God to earth as a Man so that He could provide the way for you to live forever. Love was willing to pay the penalty of death for your sins. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 The way you respond to the love of God is the same way a baby responds to the loving arms of its mother. God’s love brings to you the emotional, physical and spiritual nourishment you need to grow. That is the love you need for survival. God desires that you know His love by experiencing it personally, intimately. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, and length, and depth and height – to know the love of Christ that passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph. 3:18, 19 The only response needed is to turn to God – repent, and believe. The love of God is waiting to fill you and embrace you. Then you can pass love on to others. Joyfully, Joyce
