Prayer: WHO WILL YOU TRUST? The Bible is the very Word of God. It is true. It never changes. It has the stamp of approval from God Himself. He has said not to change it, leave anything out, and not to add to what it says. In addition, God has given you the Holy Spirit to help you understand all that He has to say. He will help you apply the truth to your current situation. He will help you see the faith of those you read about. God wants you to realize that He is able to take care of you in your situation too. The Bible states that when you receive Jesus, you have the right to become a child of God, along with all those who believe on His name. John 1:12. Further on, it says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. John 3:16. Also, it states that he who believes in Him is not condemned. John 3:18 Then it states, ‘whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.’ Romans 10:13 This is the beginning of a walk of blessings! Perhaps you have been struggling with the issues in your life. Feelings are deceitful. They can change with the circumstances. They can change with the weather, and with the food you eat! You can be filled with doubt, fear, anger, unworthiness – all based on your feelings. There may be problems in your past that have brought shame, hurt and pain. They will all weigh you down. The enemy, Satan, loves to pull the strings of your feelings so that you will not listen to the Word of God. You have a very important decision to make. Are you going to trust the true Word of God, or are you going to continue relying on your feelings? The way to be free, totally free, is to trust in the Word that is always true. Tune your ear to hear what God says. He loves you. Jesus died once for all to pay the penalty for sin. The key is to BELIEVE. You have the right to choose to believe. You have the right to be a child of God forever! You have the right to be forgiven of all your sin. Follow what is true. Trust in the Bible and give glory to God. Joyfully, Joyce
