Prayer: Hello, I am contacting you with regard to your veteran spiritual resources. My name is Jillian, and I am an Assistant Outreach Coordinator for the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance, an Internet resource for information about mesothelioma, a rare type of cancer attributed to asbestos exposure. Veterans and members of the military are included in the group of professionals at an increased risk of developing this cancer. For this reason, we work with our on-staff Navy Veteran to increase awareness of this urgent health concern among members of the military community. A diagnosis of mesothelioma cancer, which has no known cure, is life changing and can be extremely difficult. When a veteran or military member receives this kind of diagnosis, they may find themselves in need of spiritual or religious guidance and support. This type of assistance may come from a military chaplain. Visit our Military Chaplains to learn how military chaplains can assist newly diagnosed veterans or military personnel in this especially trying time. We have also created a directory of spiritual resources, so that our website visitors can search for this type of support in their area. We would like to include your resource in our directory, and in return, would ask that you please include a resource link to the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance on your SITE. I appreciate your time, and welcome the opportunity to work with you to better serve our veteran and military community members. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kindly, Jillian -- Jillian McKee Assistant Outreach Coordinator Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance
