Prayer: ALL GODíS SAINTS How does it feel to be called a saint? Do you think you qualify? Does that mean that you have wings, and you are perfect? You may have some idea about those who are called saints. You may think they are different from who you are. Some think that to be a saint, you need to perform miracles. Well, that may narrow the field. Maybe you do not want to be given that title. However, the Bible states that those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, and are part of the community of Christians, and are called saints. To those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints. 1 Corinthians 2:8 That means that when you become part of those who are called Christians, you are one of the saints. You have been made clean and righteous by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 God delights in you. He will not forsake His saints. He preserves the souls of His saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His saints. Spend some time looking up these special verses: Psalm 16:3; 37:28; 97:8; Proverbs 2:8. These are verses and promises that you can believe. You can trust that God who inspired them to be written is giving you truth. As saints in Godís family, you have special position and privilege. You are part of the company of Christians, children of God, saints, who honor and glorify the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Accept your title. Claim your promises. Rejoice! You are part of the family of God! Joyfully, Joyce
