Prayer: FORGIVE One of the most difficult lessons to learn is on forgiving. God showed the greatest example of forgiveness when He sent Jesus to pay the penalty for the sin of the world. He carried the burden, He died once for all, He showed His great love. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7 How awesome to have all your sins forgiven. What joy there is in letting Jesus set you free. Now He asks one thing from you: come to Him and humbly forgive others. Take the burden of offenses against you and lay them at the Masterís feet. The heaviest burden is the pain, hurt, anger, and frustration of offenses. Take your hands off of them. Step away from them. Do not carry the pain any longer. Come unto Me all you who labor and are heave laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28, 29 You can be set free, unshackled, when you drop the load of unforgiveness. It is a heavy weight. You have carried it for too long. Now is the time to release it. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 You can allow your Father to deal with the offenses against you. You can hold them in an open hand and release them to His care. He will take the responsibility. This opens the relationship between you and the Father. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Joyfully, Joyce
