Prayer: MEDITATE ON THE WORD There are verses in the Bible that urge you to meditate on the Word. Joshua was given that command: Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Certainly, Joshua was given specific guidelines he was to follow. He was to do two things: meditate, and do all that was written there. Now it is time for you to have the same mandate in your life. Meditate on the Word and do what is written in it. How will your life be different once you follow these two instructions? What a wonderful peace can come into your life if you fill your thoughts with these things. The world and the enemy want to overpower you with dark, negative thoughts. The antidote is in the Bible: think on these things. Meditate on these things. Let them dominate your waking hours. Focus on Who God is, and what He is able to accomplish in and through you. Joyfully, Joyce
