Prayer: TRUST IN THE LORD Trust is an area of great difficulty for many. You may say, I want to see results. However, trust is seeing with the mind. It is a decision of the heart. Trust puts the responsibility for completion upon someone else. Trust is giving up your right to get things done by yourself. All through the Psalms, David speaks of trust. It becomes a matter of submission, of reliance upon God, the Creator of heaven and earth. It is relinquishing your will to the One who loves you most. Trust brings you face to face with your inabilities and allows you to reach out to your Father. Psalm 18:30 He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Psalm 28:7 My heart trusted in Him and I am helped. The cry of your heart should be to trust in God. It may be the most difficult act of all, to say, ‘it is all in Your hands, O God.’ In times of fear and uncertainty, this is your anchor and help. Psalm 62:8 Trust in Him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Psalm 71:1 In you, O Lord, I put my trust, For You are my hope, O Lord God. Proverbs 30:5 He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Trust allows you to acknowledge God as the One who is able to bring the answers you desire. Trust gives you the courage, peace, rest, protection and refuge that you need. Isaiah 26:34 Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength. YAH is like letting your breath out. It is a holy word for God: Your Jehovah – YAH. Joyfully, Joyce
