Prayer: Much of the Bible speaks about the glory of God. Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God. You can see the glory of God in majestic mountains, rolling waves of the ocean, colorful birds and fish and flowers, the intricate detail of each part of God's creation, as well as the vastness of the universe. These all speak of the glory of God. David devoted many Psalms to extolling the glory of God, praising Him, thanking Him, honoring Him, rejoicing in what He created. When the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, "We beheld His glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 I hope that you see that you are meant to focus on the glory of God. You are to declare the glory of God. Your purpose is to bring glory to God by your life. Jesus said, "I have glorified You on earth. I have finished the work you have given Me to do." John 17:4 Just like Jesus, you fulfill your purpose when you give glory to the Lord of lords. Joyfully, Joyce
