Prayer: Ambassadors are representatives of their home country. It is an assignment and a privilege. They do not have an agenda of their own, but carry out the wishes of their leader. Wherever you go, whatever you do, you are God's ambassador. You are representing your homeland, Heaven. You represent your king, Jesus Christ, Ruler of heaven and earth. Here on earth you are called a foreigner, stranger, pilgrim, alien, sojourner. That is ok, because your citizenship is in heaven. I Peter 2:11, 12 urges that your conduct be honorable because you are an ambassador. Your stay here on earth is short before you are called to your heavenly mansion where you will live forever with your Father. Look beyond your earthly possessions and continue on your journey joyfully, because you anticipate your true homeland, heaven. Many have arrived there already, and they are a great cloud of witnesses cheering you on. Read Hebrews 11. Speak boldly for God your Father. Represent Him well. Joyfully, Joyce
