Prayer: How do you look at times of testing? Is there dread, fear, sadness? It is like going to the dentist. You know there will be pain, it will be difficult, but you have to endure it to get the desired result. In Romans 5:3 It states: "And not only that but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance character, and character, hope." Paul looked to the end result and he saw value in the character -building attributes. Paul also knew he did not have to do it alone. God uses each challenge in your life to mold and shape you into the likeness of Jesus Christ. How you view tests and trials depends on how you view your Father. When a typhoon strikes, people find a safe place, protected from the storm. You have a safe place of protection as well. Psalm 91 starts out: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Turn to Him. Place your trust in Him. Accept His plan. Joyfully, Joyce
