Dedicated to: All Our Military Men and Women

Prayer: This poem was written July 19, 2005 @ 4 a.m. for a friend's whose husband succomb to cancer earlier that year. Running across it yesterday, I thought and pray it may bless someone. Called for Active Duty My best friend died. O Lord, Abba Father, fully in you may I abide. Pour your Spirit down upon and in me So in all things you shine forever brightly. Crumbling before you Lord, I cry For Lord, I need you so much more now by my side. My heart, broken in jagged pieces beyond belief, Craves and needs your healing touch in and through my grief. O Holy Father, ever so humbly I bow in remembrance of Jesus' crucifixion now. I know you walked beyond that dark, cold grave, With your body and blood for our sins, you gave. Help me feel your presence and know that my friend to heaven, you called him to go. With you in the resurrection, he now walks pain-free. He prevails victorious in eternity within the realms of the heavenly. Help me O Father God to now with renewed fervor, love, obey, serve and wait upon you forever. In Jesus Most Holy Name, Amen
